Classic Morocco Tours 2022/2023

Arrival in Casablanca. You will be greeted by your driver, then start your morocco tours, who will take you to visit the Hassan II Mosque, Habbous Quarter, and art deco buildings in the center of the city. Travel to Rabat, the capital city of Morocco.

After your breakfast, explore the capital city of Rabat. With or without a local guide, be sure to visit of the best sites of this city, such as the picturesque Oudaia Kasbah, the Hassan Tower and Mausoleum of Mohammed V, Chellah Gardens and Necropolis. Continue towards the imperial city Meknes.

You will have time to explore the main sights in Meknes (with or without a local guide). Visit the impressive gate, “Bab Mansour”, the tomb of Moulay Ismail, the souks and various quarters and the Grand Mosque. Continue your travel to Fes.

After breakfast, you will begin your day with a local Moroccan guide, who will show you all the amazing highlights that this Imperial City has to offer, such as the Karaouiyine Mosque, the souks, spice markets, koranic schools, tanneries and leather market, the pottery quarter, henna market, woodcrafters and metal craftsmen.

Traveling into the mountains today, you will see nomadic Berbers who call this rugged region home. After a late lunch in Midelt, continue on mountain roads overlooking the wide flowing Oued Ziz. Passing by Kasbahs, palm groves and the adobe colored city of Er-Rachidia before arriving in the late afternoon at Merzouga, the doorway to the best morocco tours. Camel trek and overnight in nomad tent.

Return to Merzouga after sunrise on the back of your camels to shower and depart. Head towards Todra Gorge, the highest oasis in Morocco, passing by the strange rock creation of Tamnalt Hills. Overnight right in the Dades Gorge lined by the red and mauve rocks.

Take a drive off-road for about 25kms on your 4×4, visit nomad people in caves before arriving at the Rose Valley, the center of Moroccan roses and rose products. Then continue onwards to the Skoura palm oasis and arrive in Ouarzazate, where you will stop for lunch. Continue with a visit to the UNESCO-protected site of Ait Benhaddou. Then head south west to the town of Taroudannt which contains almost the whole city within its walls, plus souks which specialize in handicrafts such as pottery, leather and jewelry.

Today you will travel towards Agadir, a very modern city that is located on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean. It is a seaside resort with long sandy beach, large buildings, wide roads and European-style cafés. After a stop here, continue to Essaouira. Also located on the Atlantic ocean, this town is known for its white-painted houses and their blue windows and doors. Essaouira has also been known by its Portuguese name “Mogador”.

In the early afternoon, you will make your way back to Marrakech. Along the way, you will see enormous Argan tree on both sides of the road. These Argan trees are frequently climbed by goats. A stop at one of the cooperatives is worthwhile to see how Berber women squeeze the Argan fruits with hands to extract this precious oil. Arrival at your hotel/riad in Marrakech by evening.

After breakfast, with your local guide, you will visit the key highlights of Marrakech. Walk through the souk (covered market) to Ali Ben Youssef Medersa (Koranic school), the Koubba Ba’Adiyn, Koutoubia Mosque, Palais el-Badi, Palais Bahia and the Saadian Tombs. In the evening, spend time at the famous Place Djemaa el Fna to soak up the spectacle of snake charmers, acrobats and tantalizing food stalls.
